The Charity Quiz Night 2022 was all about neck or nothing. According to the original patent for toilet paper, how should the loose end hang down? Which cocktail is the national drink of Puerto Rico? The participants found the questions a hard nut to crack. Because only the best team could win the cup. Congratulations again to the team Zwingli-Flyers!

At this year's Charity Quiz Night, 13 motivated teams with a great team spirit competed against each other. The evening took place in the Haus zum Rüden, a historic guild house that has been cultivating the traditions and values of the city of Zurich since 1348.

Right To Play ambassadors and friends joined forces to give this evening a special spice. For example, Roger Furrer and Carlos Lima were on the teams and on stage as presenters were Pascale Menzi and Marco Büchel, leading through the evening with wit and charm.

The evening was themed around the #SafeHerSeat campaign and dedicated to ensuring girls have a place in the classroom. Millions of girls currently do not have access to education, even though it is their right. Without an education, their chances for a better future dwindle. Circumstances beyond their control limit their dreams and impact their futures. In Rwanda, for example, Right To Play has been working for several years with a local organization called UMUHUZA to enable all children to learn basic literacy skills. Another project in Pakistan is Right To Play's GOAL program, which uses sports and group games to build girls' confidence and communication skills. GOAL also helps girls gain a basic understanding of finances to strengthen their independence.

Through a tombola, auction, and Gift of Play, we were able to raise 114,040 Swiss francs that evening, securing a place in the classroom for 2,851 girls!
