Right To Play is a global organization that protects, educates and empowers children to rise above adversity using play. By harnessing play, one of the most powerful and fundamental forces in a child’s life, we help millions of children to stay in school and out of work, to prevent life-threatening diseases like HIV and malaria and to stay safe from exploitation and abuse. We are the only global development organization focused exclusively on using play to transform the lives of children and youth impacted by poverty, war, disease and inequality. Established in 2000, Right To Play is headquartered in Toronto, Canada and has programs in 15 countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and North America.

Right To Play programs are specifically designed to address children’s contextual needs. The programs are implemented in close collaboration with communities, local civil society organizations and governments. Right To Play supports and builds capacity of local institutions and government to ensure sustainability of program impact. When you donate online, you will receive a thank you email which will include a tax receipt of your gift. For monthly gifts, you will receive an official annual tax receipt for the total amount of your monthly gifts for that year at the start of the following year.
